Wingate entered their tilt with Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Pirates 13-2.

Wingate now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Wingate will welcome Varsity Opponent at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Varsity Opponent has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.32 runs per game on average), something Wingate will no doubt try to take advantage of. Valley will be paying especially close attention to the Bears' contest: after the Bears faces off against Varsity Opponent, they'll take on Valley again at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
