Volleyball Recap: Aurora Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Aurora Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Skyview Wolverines. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-19, 25-14.

Avyanna Langkiet- Balderes paced Aurora Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Langkiet- Balderes got some help from Andena Torres and her 18 assists. Anneliese Lara controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Aurora Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Skyview, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Aurora Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Thornton on the 3rd. Skyview has also already played their next match (against Adams City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
