Volleyball Recap: Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Comes Up Short

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Augusta E Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-11.

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics' defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Augusta E, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 14-10-3.

Looking ahead, Georgia School for Innovation & Classics will be playing at home against Hephzibah at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta E, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Greenville H on the 3rd.
