Baseball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves vs. Kings Christian Crusaders
Wonderful College Prep Academy was handed a six-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Kings Christian Crusaders 7-6. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolves as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Julian Tafoya was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Tafoya was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March.
