Dutch Fork's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Chapin on Thursday. The Dutch Fork Silver Foxes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Chapin Eagles. The three-run effort marked the Silver Foxes' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Boone Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks.

Dutch Fork's record now sits at 6-2. As for Chapin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will host White Knoll at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chapin, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Lexington at 6:30 p.m.
