Baseball Recap: Heritage Academy Eagles vs. Pendleton County Wildcats
Heritage Academy never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Pendleton County on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 12-11. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this game were averaging 3.75 runs allowed.
Benjamin Brown was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with four RBI.

In other batting news, Heritage Academy let Austin McGlynn and Hunter Boswell run wild. McGlynn went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Boswell went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Boswell a new career-high.
