Volleyball Recap: Gainesville Beats Jensen Beach for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Gainesville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Jensen Beach Falcons 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Hurricanes, who have now won four matches in a row.

Gainesville never let Jensen Beach on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-20.

Gainesville can attribute much of their success to Addyson Hauptman, who had 13 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Whitney Kinsell, who had ten assists and three digs.

Gainesville's win bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Jensen Beach, they dropped their record down to 12-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Gainesville has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Gateway on the 25th. Jensen Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
