Georgetown had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Pflugerville Panthers as they made off with a 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Georgetown's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Pflugerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Georgetown and Pflugerville will both be playing Pflugerville Connally the next time they take the field. Georgetown will host Pflugerville Connally at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Pflugerville will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
