Soccer Game Preview: Skiatook vs. Summit Christian Academy

The Skiatook Bulldogs will challenge the Summit Christian Academy Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Skiatook will be strutting in after a win while Summit Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

While Skiatook's victory against Grove wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Ridgerunners 2-1 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Skiatook as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, Summit Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Oklahoma Christian by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Summit Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma soccer rankings (they are ranked 58th, while Oklahoma Christian are ranked tenth).

Summit Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Skiatook, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Skiatook beat Summit Christian Academy by a goal when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 2-1. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
