Softball Recap: West Ouachita Takes a Loss

West Ouachita came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Buckeye Panthers by a score of 9-7 on Friday. The Chiefs have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

West Ouachita's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Buckeye, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coincidentally, West Ouachita and Buckeye will both be playing Brusly the next time they take the field. Buckeye will host Brusly at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while West Ouachita will host them at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
