 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Denver Christian Thunder had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They walked away with  a   62-53  victory over the Eagles. The  win was nothing new for Denver Christian as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Denver Christian had a senior duo take command as  Jackson Schroder  went 7 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and 5 assists and  Brayden Epperhart  almost  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and nine  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Schroder has scored all season.  Ryan Wind was another key contributor,  scoring six points along with five  rebounds.
 When it comes to explaining why Wray lost, one person who can't be blamed is  AB Ruiz. Despite the final result, he  almost  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and nine  rebounds. That was a full 39.6% of Wray's points, marking the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Adonay Gonzalez, who  scored eight points along with seven  assists.
 Wray  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only  an  offensive rebound. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Denver Christian has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record  this season. As for Wray, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-10.
 Denver Christian is on the road again  on Thursday and plays Merino at 5:30  p.m.  on March 7th. Denver Christian knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Merino likes a good challenge. Wray does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
