Payson has no trouble against Northwest Christian

Recap: Payson Longhorns vs. Northwest Christian Crusaders
The Payson Longhorns won the last time they faced the Northwest Christian Crusaders, and things went their way on Thursday too. Payson put the hurt on Northwest Christian with a sharp 51-29 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Payson.
Payson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lizzy White led the charge by dropping a double-double on 10 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Clara Whaley, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Payson's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northwest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Payson will head out on the road to face off against San Tan Foothills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. San Tan Foothills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Northwest Christian, they will be playing at home against Odyssey Institute at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
