Soccer Game Preview: Columbia River vs. Washougal

Columbia River has gone 9-1 against Washougal recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Rapids will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Columbia River is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Columbia River's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Hockinson. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Columbia River's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked third, while Hockinson are ranked 34th).

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Washougal's offense. They fell 2-0 to R.A. Long on Thursday.

Columbia River's victory bumped their record up to 13-0-1. As for Washougal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1.

Columbia River took their win against Washougal in their previous matchup on October 2nd by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Rapids repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
