Lorena is 8-2 against Robinson since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lorena Leopards are taking a road trip to take on the Robinson Rockets at 6:15 p.m.

Lorena is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering La Vega just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 80-33 loss at the hands of the Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Leopards can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Pirates are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Robinson hadn't done well against China Spring recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Robinson managed a 45-39 win over China Spring. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rockets.

Robinson has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Lorena, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 20-8.

Lorena beat Robinson 41-30 when the teams last played two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lorena since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
