Georgetown entered their tilt with Weatherford on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Kangaroos.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21.

Mallory Miller paced Georgetown's offense, picking up six kills. Miller got some help from Amelia Albright and her 16 assists. Albright was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Georgetown's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Weatherford, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-2.

Georgetown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against La Vernia on the 16th. As for Weatherford, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Salado on the 16th.
