Football Preview: Weatherford Kangaroos vs. Crowley Eagles
The Weatherford Kangaroos will face off against the Crowley Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Weatherford and three for Crowley.
Last Friday, Weatherford came up short against Royse City and fell 35-25.
Weatherford wouldn't let Royse City keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. Weatherford can thank Quinton Martinez and Keegan Jackson for forcing all of them. Another thorn in Royse City's side was Micah Moore, who made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Crowley also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Tyler Legacy by a score of 32-25.
Crowley might have lost, but man, Caleb Williams was a machine: he threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards on only nine carries. Crowley also got help from Antayvious Ellis, who showed off his sure hands for 102 receiving yards.
Weatherford's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
