Zephyr came tearing into Friday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 34-26 win over the Richland Springs Coyotes. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 69-62 win back in January.

Zephyr pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points over those games. As for Richland Springs, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6.

Coincidentally, Zephyr and Richland Springs will both be playing Cross Plains the next time they take the court. Zephyr will host Cross Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Richland Springs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
