Soccer Recap: Brighton/Boston Academy Takes a Loss

Brighton/Boston Academy lost against Boston International back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals came up short against Boston International, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Brighton/Boston Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while Boston International are ranked 11th).

Brighton/Boston Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-3. As for Boston International, they pushed their record up to 11-0-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Brighton/Boston Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northbridge at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Boston International, they will face off against Lincoln-Sudbury at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
