Basketball Recap: Bangor Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Bangor took a 27-point loss the last time they faced off against Thornton Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bangor Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thornton Academy Trojans on Friday, sneaking past 45-43. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bangor is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Thornton Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Bangor will square off against Edward Little at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Thornton Academy, they will host Gorham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gorham's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Thornton Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
