Softball Game Preview: Mifflin County Huskies vs. Williamsport Millionaires

The Mifflin County Huskies will challenge the Williamsport Millionaires at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Mifflin County fell victim to Cumberland Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (14-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Williamsport unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 4-1 to State College. Millionaires fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Little Lions since on Friday.

Mifflin County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Williamsport, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
