Softball Recap: Falls City Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Falls City can now relate to. They came up short against the Shiner Comanches on Wednesday, falling 20-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Beavers in their meetings with the Comanches: they've now lost four in a row.

Falls City's loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Shiner, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Comanches beat Falls City by a score of 15-1 later that day.
