Basketball Game Preview: Shanley Deacons vs. Fargo Davies Eagles

Shanley hasn't had much luck against Fargo Davies recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Shanley Deacons will face off against the Fargo Davies Eagles at 5:45 p.m. Fargo Davies took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Shanley, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Shanley earned a 53-46 win over Fargo North. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Deacons.

Fargo Davies has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 64-59 heartbreaker at the hands of Red River.

Shanley's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Fargo Davies, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.

Shanley lost to Fargo Davies on the road by a decisive 66-52 margin in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Shanley avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
