Baseball Recap: Rock Creek Comes Up Short

While it was Rock Creek who put the first runs on the board on Tuesday, it was Caney who put up more. The Mustangs lost 14-4 to the Cougars. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.

Konnor Ribera made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Ashby, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Rock Creek's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Caney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Creek will venture away from home to challenge Bristow at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Caney, they will head out to take on Colbert at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
