Volleyball Recap: Lecanto Panthers vs. Hernando Leopards
After losing to Hernando the last time they met, Lecanto decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top against the Leopards by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.
In the three sets Lecanto was on fire: they won each by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.
Sadie Richardson was the offensive standout of the game as she had eight digs and three assists.

Lecanto was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Lecanto has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Citrus on the 26th. As for Hernando, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Nature Coast Tech on the 27th.
