Soccer Game Preview: Walhalla vs. Palmetto

The Walhalla Razorbacks will take on the Palmetto Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Walhalla is headed into Thursday's matchup hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They fell 3-1 to Pendleton on Tuesday. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Walhalla couldn't quite close it out.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Palmetto and Belton-Honea Path had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Bears 3-2 on Monday.

Palmetto's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Walhalla, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
