Recap: Kit Carson Wildcats vs. Granada Bobcats
The Kit Carson Wildcats won against the Granada Bobcats last Saturday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Kit Carson was the clear victor by a 51-28 margin over Granada. Winning may never get old, but Kit Carson sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Payge Booker-rady continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Johnson, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Kit Carson's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Granada, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.
Kit Carson on the road again on Saturday and play against Springfield at 2:00 p.m. on January 20th. Springfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Granada, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s defense has only allowed 28.8 points per game this season, so Granada's offense will have their work cut out for them.
