Basketball Recap: St. Stephens Comes Up Short

St. Stephens entered their game against Burlington on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The St. Stephens Eagles lost 59-38 to the Burlington Huskies. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 76-48 two weeks ago.

St. Stephens' loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Burlington, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Stephens will venture away from home to challenge Farson-Eden at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burlington, they will take on Dubois at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
