Madison's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 48-18 win over the A Plus Academy Knights. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Randy Hudson was his usual excellent self, throwing for 298 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per attempt. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (147.9). Coderian Wilson was in the mix as well, providing Madison with one TD.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Madison, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Adairian Alexander, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

A Plus Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Diego Soto and Emmanuel Mendoza. Soto threw for 288 yards and four touchdowns on only 16 passes, while Mendoza picked up 164 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Madison's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 2-8. As for A Plus Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

As of now, neither Madison nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
