While NCSSM: Durham's victory against Wake Prep Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Unicorns had just enough and edged out the Guardians 3-2 on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but NCSSM: Durham sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Ava Cummings and Atha Brantley scored all three of NCSSM: Durham's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 21 goals.

NCSSM: Durham's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those four games. As for Wake Prep Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6-1.
