 Carteret can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the New Brunswick Zebra with a sharp  8-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Carteret.
 Carteret got a great performance from  Nick Kee as he  struck out 12 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and only one walk). Kee has been consistent recently: he hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Lucas Rivera was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and a  triple.  James Rodriguez was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Carteret's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for New Brunswick, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carteret will  challenge Woodbridge at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Carteret: 4.1, Woodbridge: 2.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for New Brunswick, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Plainfield at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. New Brunswick is facing Plainfield at the right time seeing as Plainfield is stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
