Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Drops Highest Score of Season Against City University School of Liberal Arts

Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-32 heartbreaker at the hands of City University School of Liberal Arts. One positive for the Vikings, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

City University School of Liberal Arts found their leader in sophomore Jayda Graham, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandiah Daniels, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for City University School of Liberal Arts, their record now sits at 6-13.

Looking ahead, Hillcrest will host Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Westwood's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Hillcrest's offense will have their work cut out for them. City University School of Liberal Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
