Basketball Recap: Lake Hamilton Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Lake Hamilton lost to El Dorado back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Lake Hamilton Wolves took down the El Dorado Wildcats 50-36. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Wildcats are ranked 164th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lake Hamilton's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.9 points per game. As for El Dorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Lake Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-40 loss against White Hall on the 24th. As for El Dorado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-32 defeat against Sheridan on the 23rd.
