Volleyball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 36th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Brighton Bengals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12, 25-11.

Nefi Arguelles paced East's offense, picking up four kills. Arguelles got some help from Eh Soe and his five assists.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-27. As for Brighton, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. East is set to face off against their familiar foe West at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Brighton will challenge rival Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
