Basketball Recap: Clarendon Comes Up Short

Clarendon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the Dermott Rams. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clarendon's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Dermott, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clarendon won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Marvell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarendon is facing Marvell at the right time seeing as Marvell is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dermott, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Scott Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
