Volleyball Recap: Emmett Takes a Loss

Emmett lost against Cole Valley Christian back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Chargers. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-16.

Cole Valley Christian was led to victory by Kylie Wingard and Alyssa Hedegaard. Wingard had four digs and four aces, while Hedegaard had seven digs and one assist. That's the most aces Wingard has posted since back in September of 2024.

Emmett's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Cole Valley Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Emmett and Cole Valley Christian will both be playing Weiser the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
