Volleyball Recap: Adams-Friendship Gets the Win

It was close, but on Tuesday the Adams-Friendship Green Devils sidestepped the Baraboo Thunderbirds for a 2-1 victory.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Adams-Friendship got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 15-10.

Piper Moyer paced Adams-Friendship's offense, picking up 17 kills. Moyer got some help from Caylee Frank and her 16 assists. Moyer also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kerrigan Danowski, racking up three apiece.

Adams-Friendship's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Baraboo, they moved to 6-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Adams-Friendship didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Wisconsin Dells on the 4th. As for Baraboo, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against DeForest on the 4th.
