Volleyball Recap: Nevada Union Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

The Nevada Union Miners got the win against the Yuba City Honkers on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Nevada Union was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-16.

Rhyder Eelkema paced Nevada Union's offense, picking up 13 kills. Eelkema got some help from Kody Cornish and his 15 assists. Cornish also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Brian Phou, racking up two apiece.
