Baseball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

If Houston was riding high fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Plato on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dixon Bulldogs on Wednesday.

Aaden Scantlin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Houston's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dixon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Houston will be playing in front of their home fans against Seymour at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Dixon, they will challenge Belle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
