Football Recap: Lafayette Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lafayette can now relate to. They took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chillicothe Hornets on Friday. The Fighting Irish haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Chillicothe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chillicothe, they have already played their next game, a 24-19 defeat against Richmond on the 7th.
