Preview: Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones vs. Redfield Pheasants
Clark/Willow Lake is 4-0 against Redfield since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Clark/Willow Lake Cyclones will head out on the road to face off against the Redfield Pheasants at 7:15 p.m. Clark/Willow Lake will be strutting in after a victory while Redfield will be coming in after a loss.
Clark/Willow Lake posted their closest victory yet this season on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 42-40 victory over Great Plains Lutheran.
Meanwhile, Redfield's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. Their tough 60-39 defeat to Hitchcock-Tulare might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Redfield has suffered since December 14, 2023.
Clark/Willow Lake's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.3 points per game. As for Redfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Everything came up roses for Clark/Willow Lake against Redfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 64-32 victory. Does Clark/Willow Lake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Redfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
