Football Recap: Pawnee Black Bears vs. Woodland Cougars
Pawnee couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 38-8 loss at the hands of the Woodland Cougars. The Black Bears have struggled against the Cougars recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Dray Long had a dynamite game for Woodland, rushing for 105 yards and three touchdowns, while also catching a touchdown. That's the most total yards Long has posted since back in September of 2023. Another player making a difference was Jaston Terry, who gained 180 total yards and a touchdown.
