Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Peyton Barrett and Kaleia Zeits Lead Glendora to Victory + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Amat, Glendora was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Marlborough Mustangs by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Tartans, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Glendora was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 23-25, 25-19, 25-10.

Glendora was led to victory by Kaleia Zeits and Peyton Barrett. Zeits had 15 digs and three aces, while Barrett had ten digs and two aces. Zeits has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 20 times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Glendora was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marlborough only served seven aces.

Despite the loss, Marlborough still got an impressive performance from Tatawan Vongfak, who had 26 digs and three assists.

Glendora's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Marlborough, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Glendora has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Rancho Cucamonga on the 25th. As for Marlborough, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Windward on the 26th.
