Baseball Recap: Bowie Comes Up Short

Bowie fell victim to South Grand Prairie and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The Volunteers were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bowie saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Ferguson, who went 1-for-4 with one double.

Bowie's record is now 22-10. As for South Grand Prairie, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7-2.

While Bowie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
