Softball Recap: Twelve Bridges Find Success

Twelve Bridges won the last time they faced Nevada Union and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Raging Rhinos narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Miners 13-11. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raging Rhinos.

Lucia Cantarhina was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four runs, one double, and one RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lexi Bright, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

Twelve Bridges was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Twelve Bridges' record now sits at 9-7. As for Nevada Union, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16-1.

Looking ahead, Twelve Bridges will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Placer at 4:00 p.m. The Hillmen will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Raging Rhinos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Nevada Union, they will challenge Roseville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
