Football Recap: Green Takes a Loss

After flying high against Tallmadge last Friday, Green came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell 27-21 to the Hoover Vikings on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 14, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Green's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Hoover, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Green will face off against rival Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hoover is set to take on their familiar foe Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Vikings 9.5, the Leopards 5.8) so any points scored will be well earned.
