Soccer Game Preview: Bell vs. Byron Nelson

Bell is 0-3 against Byron Nelson since January of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Blue Raiders will be playing at home against the Bobcat at 6:30 p.m.

Bell fell victim to Southlake Carroll and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 4-0 to the Dragons. While losing is never fun, Bell can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Southlake Carroll are ranked third).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Byron Nelson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against Northwest by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Byron Nelson haven't had any issues with Northwest recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Byron Nelson's win bumped their record up to 6-3-3. As for Bell, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Bell suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Byron Nelson in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. Can the Blue Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
