Softball Recap: Easton Area Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Easton Area won against Bethlehem Catholic on Monday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Rovers walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Parkland Trojans. The win was nothing new for the Rovers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Audrey Rinda spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Thalia Burns and Faith Zimmerman did most of the damage at the plate: Burns scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Zimmerman scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Kailyn Castellano was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Easton Area's record is now 6-4. As for Parkland, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Easton Area will challenge Bangor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parkland, they will venture away from home to square off against Louis E. Dieruff at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
