Volleyball Recap: Cannelton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Cannelton lost against Seven Oaks Classical back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Firehawks by a score of 2-1.

Arianna Hulse paced Cannelton's offense, picking up nine kills. Hulse got some help from Abigale Jones and her seven assists. Hulse was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cannelton has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Seven Oaks Classical, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Cannelton has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Christian Academy of Madison on the 27th. As for Seven Oaks Classical, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lighthouse Christian Academy on the 27th.
