Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Wilmington Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Heide Trask on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots came up short against the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs on Friday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

Wilmington Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Wilmington Christian Academy will be taking part in a tournament against Heide Trask at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wake Christian Academy, they will take on Garner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
