Soccer Game Preview: Woodbridge vs. St. Mark's

The Woodbridge Raiders will challenge the St. Mark's Spartans at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Woodbridge's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against McKean, sneaking past 1-0.

Meanwhile, St. Mark's faced Salesianum in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Spartans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sallies. That makes it the first time this season St. Mark's have let down their home crowd.

Woodbridge now has a winning record of 7-6-1. As for St. Mark's, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-2-1.
